This Thursday, October 25th is Igwebuike’s annual Love Jones spectacular. Love Jones is Santa Clara’s largest showcase and open-mic event, and it features everything from stand-up comedy and slam-poetry to musical performances and dance routines.

A rhythmic beat ensued as the lights dimmed and the spotlight centered on the open microphone while a crowd of five hundred students watched in anticipation.
The twenty performances showcased throughout the evening, part of the Love Jones event held last Thursday in the Locatelli Center, included poetry, singing, rappers, bands and musicians.

Every seat was filled and people stood on chairs and couches to see the stage for last night's Love Jones performance in the Bronco.
The event featured approximately 15 different acts -- poets, rappers, singers and dance groups like Collaboration (above).
Love Jones, hosted by Igwebuike, occurs quarterly. Last night, over 200 people came to see the show.
