Retreat

April 19-21, 2013

KOA Petaluma /SF North

Igwebuike's Ujima retreat is an opportunity for students to foster stronger relationships within the Igwebuike family while appreciating the rich diversity within our organization. Inspired by the third celebration of Kwanza, one of the main themes of the Ujima retreat is collective work and responsibility to build and maintain our Igwebuike community. Throughout the weekend students participate in various bonding and team building activities to facilitate conversations about community, diversity and leadership. Some of the main objectives of the retreat are to inspire students to strengthen their relationships within the Igwebuike family, encourage students to explore leadership opportunities within the club as well as give students an opportunity to discuss areas for growth within the club.
